Everyone has an Inner Mustang
The Ford Mustang was getting a little long in the tooth, and out came an all-new Camaro that could apparently transform into a giant robot. Over the top (in a Michael Bay way) competition. So we went after Bumblebee with a key distinguishing truth, the Mustang is the most customizable vehicle in the world. And everyone has an Inner Mustang.
Our online and mobile apps have personally unleashed millions, we decided to bring forward this truth in a fantastical fashion.
We partnered with director Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Lion King, etc., etc.) and cinematographer Matty Libatique (each and every Darren Aronofsky film) to bring it to life. We hit a million YouTube views (organically) in just over a week, on Facebook just one day (definitely not organically); when spoofed with Lindsey Lohan on the Tonight Show, over 5 million sets of eyes immediately (organically!).
